China Invites Mnangagwa For State Visit To Strengthen Economic Relations

 Minister of Energy, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo said Chinese President Xi Jinping has invited Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa to visit China where the two leaders are expected to map out a blueprint for development between the two nations.

The invitation was delivered by Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Huang Ping. Haung Ping told reporters that Mnangagwa had responded to President Xi’s invitation but did not disclose the exact dates of the visit. The trip will be Mnangagwa’s first trip outside Africa as Zimbabwe’s President.

Said Khaya Moyo:

China was the first county to send a special envoy to congratulate Cde Mnangagwa. Carrying a letter from President Xi, the envoy invited President Mnangagwa to visit China and President Mnangagwa said he will go to China as his first visit out of Africa and we are expecting the two leaders to map out a blueprint for development of our two countries.
