Founder of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries Walter Magaya has told Zimbabweans to prepare to seize great opportunities which lie ahead of the country under the new political dispensation ushered in by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Magaya made the prediction at his cross-over all-night service on New Year’s Eve.
It’s a new chapter for every Zimbabwean; we are in a new dispensation and, as a church, we are saying let us take advantage of the new chapter to grow our economy.
As a church, we have declared good and we are saying to our people, let us open the gates. We have great opportunities lying ahead of us.
Magaya and fellow religious leaders who include Emmanuel Makandiwa, founder of United Family International Church are famous for making “prophecies” when a new year is about to begin.
At the same occasion last year, Magaya predicted political and economic turmoil in four Southern Africa countries, including Zimbabwe. Magaya also predicted the death of a high profile person although he declined to name the person, promising to reveal the name only to diamond and platinum partners.
We need to pray for Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique and South Africa. It seems there is stability in South Africa, but it is not peaceful at all. There will be instability from one country to the other. We need to be vigilant
The Lord showed me death, but I can’t talk about it here, there are so many journalists here. I will just tell gold plus and platinum partners so that when it happens they may be witnesses to the matter.
We need to deal with corruption. In fact, many of us here have been through corruption, some practised it even today… (laughs) some entered in this place through illegal gates.
If we are to deal with corruption, we need to plant a new seed of moral uprightness in our leadership. We need leaders who engage with the people, be with them and show them, love, then we can deal with corruption. It is not a one-day event, it is a process
