Mnangagwa To Meet Investors In South Africa

According to a letter by the Zimbabwe Embassy in South Africa, President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to meet investors who are interested in doing business in Zimbabwe.

The meeting according to Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to South Africa, Isaac Moyo, is scheduled to take place on Thursday 21 December at the Zimbabwe Embassy and delegates are expected to be seated by 1300 hours. The letter reads:

His Excellency, Ambassador Isaac Moyo, invites all Zimbabweans doing business in South Africa and all business persons with an interest in investing in Zimbabwe to a business meeting which will be addressed by His Excellency, Cde E.D Mnangagwa, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 21 December 2017 at the Zimbabwe Embassy, 798 Merton Avenue, Acardia, Pretoria. You are requested to be seated by 13.00 hrs.

This is not the first time Mnangagwa has met with investors in South Africa. During his tenure as Vice President, Mnangagwa officiated a Zimbabwe-South Africa business conference. The conference according to The Herald was meant to give the Government a platform to market Zimbabwe as an investment destination and clarify misconceptions peddled by the country’s detractors. The conference was held under the theme, “Ease of Doing Business”.
