New Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Paul Mavima has reiterated that there is no going back on the new Education Curriculum despite the fact that his predecessor, the much-maligned Lazarus Dokora was fired. Dokora was fired on Saturday, barely 48 hours after being appointed and before he could be sworn in after Mnangagwa’s initial Cabinet violated constitutional provisions. Mavima was speaking after being sworn in on Monday.

What could we have been expected? He was deputising Dokora which means they were in agreement when the new curriculum was rolled out.
So what was the purpose of firing dokora if the curriculum is still on?
