Full List Of Former Ministers Dropped In President Mnangagwa’s First Cabinet

President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced a new cabinet with fewer ministers than those who were in his predecessor, former President Robert Mugabe’s, Cabinet. Here is a list of the former ministers from Mugabe’s last Cabinet who no longer have any roles in the new administration.

  2. Sidney Sekeramayi – Former Minister of Defence

  3. Samuel Undenge – Former Minister of Energy and Power Development

  4. Ignatius Chombo – Former Minister of Finance and Economic Development

  5. Walter Mzembi – Former Minister of Foreign Affairs

  6. Jonathan Moyo – Former Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education

  7. Happyton Bonyongwe – Former Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs

  8. Saviour Kasukuwere – Former Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and National Housing

  9. Walter Chidhakwa – Former Minister of Mines and Mining Development

  10. Patrick Zhuwao – Former Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare

  11. Makhosini Hlongwane – Former Minister of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture

  12. Edgar Mbwembwe – Former Minister of Tourism, Environment and Hospitality Industry
