Mugabe To Get USD$10 million Exit Package, Full Immunity, Protection Of Private Properties
As part of the deal for former President Robert Mugabe to step down, he was granted full immunity for any crimes he may have committed while in office, security and protection of his private properties as well as a US$10 million package. In the event that he dies, former first lady, Grace Mugabe will receive 50 percent of his salary per month.
Sources who spoke to The Independent said:
The government will give him US$5 million lump-sum and then the remainder to be paid out in instalments.
Mugabe will also enjoy full medical cover as well as his full monthly salary. In the event of his death, his wife will be given half salary per month.
