Video: Vimbai Musvaburi Apologises For Taking Down Mugabe’s Portrait At Meikles Without Permission

Activist and prospective member of parliament for 2018, Vimbaishe Musvaburi has apologised for causing a scene while taking down a portrait of former president Robert Mugabe at Meikles Hotel on Tuesday night. Musvaburi said that she had acted out of emotion and that she had apologised to the management at Meikles Hotel. The video of Musvaburi and her friends taking down the portrait has been widely shared on social media.

In her apology, Musvaburi said:

I would like to apologise to the citizens that look up to me 21 November was a day like no other and I acted out of emotion and I’m sorry. I’m at the Miekles hotel now and I have apologised to the management

    1. That’s an astoundingly ignorant comment. She doesn’t work there, and she didn’t need to smash it in the parking lot, breaking their frame and generally making a nuisance of herself on PRIVATE property. She wants to be a public servant and she already lacks self-control to such an extent that she’s forced to apologise due to the threat of losing votes MONTHS before the election! Sounds like the former last lady to me. All emotions, extension cords, entitlement, no hometraining, damaging property, displaying no common sense, childishness, temper tantrums, profanities and no respect for the rule of law. I don’t want such a person in parliament. You are strange if you do, Ash.
