Mnangagwa ally accused of masterminding Grace Mugabe booing granted bail

Former Zanu-PF Bulawayo Central district chairman Magura Charumbira who is accused of being behind the booing of Grace Mugabe during a recent Bulawayo Presidential Interface Rally at White City Stadium, was yesterday granted $100 bail when he appeared before Bulawayo provincial magistrate Ms Sharon Rosemani facing charges of incitement to commit public violence and undermining the authority of the President.

He was remanded out of custody to November 24 and was ordered to report thrice a week at the Bulawayo CID Law and Order offices and reside at his given residential address until the matter is finalised. Charumbira was also ordered to surrender his passport and confine himself within a 60km radius. Charumbira is accused of leading Mabutho Lucky Moyo (32), Mayibongwe Evans Zvigadza (28), Walter Sibanda (24) and Dephine Dzvange (33). The court heard that when Mugabe stood up to address people, Charumbira and his four accomplices stood up, started protesting and booing the First Lady.
