“Leave Us Alone”: Zimbabweans tell the World

Zimbabweans are calling for no foreign interference in the current political situation that is prevailing in the country. This comes after South Africa’s President and SADC Chairperson Jacob Zuma sent an envoy to Zimbabwe to facilitate talks with President Robert Mugabe and the Zimbabwe Defence Forces Generals. Below are some Tweets by Zimbabweans expressing the sentiment:

  1. South Africa, Zuma and Mbeki as well as SADC must leave Zimbabwe alone for now. Should we get to a point when we need you, we will advise and invite you. I hope SADC will not take any action that will see them fighting with the rest of the citizens of Zimbabwe. WE have been suffering all along without your help and now you want to come in because one of your numbers is out. Hands off Zimbabwe unless you want to fight with the rest of ZImbabwe.

  2. So Zimbabwe does not want foreign interference
History lesson you would all be fed, employed and educated and real generational change bought about by these factors would have seen a gradual equalising of the political and wealth powerbase had not Britain, Russia China and North Korea been used by people serving their own self interest and you Zimbabwe are living and eating the fruits of that to this very day.
Now before we get excited about not letting SA in look at where your favourite general just returned from and to whom did the crocodile flee for comfort one can also guess just how much money they both have stashed there and yes that is your money one can be sure.
Next who has been making noises in the UK parliament whilst there has been reports of calls for greater involvement of Britain in the rebuilding if Zimbabwe
Here is another history lesson Britain does not get involved unless there is access to great advantage for Britain or her wealthier citizens just look at Papua New Guinea, Bougainville etc and look at the result for their native populations and they still hold title and sovereinity over their land.
(The sale of land that gave birth to Rhodesia lawfully quashed native title )
So to get back to responsible government and a decent lifestyle will take considerable metal much prayer and vigilance but those who have murdered and stolen the last 37 years from every Zimbabwean need to be brought to justice so that those who follow them understand that they are accountable to God and to the people of Zimbabwe
There are just too many ZanuPF trained members of the proposed interim team for anyone to take comfort in the proposal
