City of Harare To Bring Water From Kariba Via Pipeline, Says It’s Cheaper Than Building A Dam

According to the deputy mayor, Enock Mupamawonde, this is actually much cheaper than constructing the proposed Gletwyn Dam. Engineers in council should seriously consider building a pipeline from Kariba Dam to Harare to ease the water problems. From the conversations I had with other technical people, they said it was actually cheaper to build the pipeline than constructing Kunzvi Dam from scratch.
