4 accused of booing Grace Mugabe granted bail

Mabutho Lucky Moyo (32), Mayibongwe Evans Zvigadza (28), Walter Sibanda (24) and Dephine Dzvange (33) who are accused of booing Grace Mugabe at a Zanu-PF youth interface rally held in Bulawayo were granted $50 bail. The four were allegedly led by former Zanu-PF Bulawayo Central district chairman Magura Charumbira, who is still at large. The four are facing a charge of undermining the authority of the President.

The four were also ordered to reside at the given addresses until the matter is finalised, not interfere with State witnesses, not attend the upcoming rally which will be held in Harare and report to their respective police stations once a week on Friday. The four are alleged to have sang and made gestures throwing hands in the air after Grace Mugabe defended Higher Education Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo who is accused of misappropriating public funds.
