At a press conference in Sandton, South Africa, Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) leader Christopher Mutsvangwa said that once the electoral process has been restored to an “even keel” his organisation wanted exiled former vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa to be the President. Mutsvangwa said that Mnangagwa would be deputised by Zapu leader Dumiso Dabengwa. He said that this would reunite the country’s liberation movements and regions.
