Mnangagwa Is Safe And Travelling To South Africa Says Christopher Mutsvangwa
Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWA) leader Christopher Mutsvangwa has claimed that former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa is safe and is on his way to South Africa. Mnangagwa was fired from the government on Monday after serving in the government since 1980. He was fired by as the country’s vice president after having served as an aide to President Robert Mugabe for more than 40 years.
Mnangagwa also released his own statement in which he claimed that he was safely out of the country although he did not state his current location. Mnangagwa said that he will soon return to lead the country.
