Disgraced former United States congressman Mel Reynolds who is a two time convicted felon has claimed that his sources in the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) have advised him that President Robert Mugabe is threatening to arrest General Constantino Chiwenga. Chiwenga is the commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces and according to Reynolds he was fired by Mugabe but is refusing to go. This comes after former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa was fired earlier on today over a number of allegations. Chiwenga is known to have openly supported Mnangagwa. The former congressman revealed this in a series of tweets, although the information is yet to be verified. In September Reynolds was convicted of four counts of tax evasion. During his trial, he claimed that President Robert Mugabe was paid a $100 000 bribe by businessman Elzie Higginbottom for diamond concessions. He did not produce any evidence to back his claims.
Reynolds came to Zimbabwe in 2014 and claimed that he was going to invest US$145million into developing a five-star Hilton Hotel and an office complex in Harare. The deal never materialised and he was later arrested at a Harare hotel on pornography charges which were dismissed by the courts. He was found guilty of staying in the country on an expired visa and deported.

Many of you seem to think that the only people who have the right to comment on politicians and their antics are those who support the dictators who have ruined this continent. Remember the old adage: politicians only tell the truth when they are stuck for a lie.
