Fadzayi Mahere to appear in court for hosting soccer tournament

Advocate Fadzayi Mahere was released and will return to court on Monday morning on charged relating to the Public Order and Security Act (POSA).

Mahere was charged for contravening Section 25 (5) of the public order and security act which is not notifying police of a public event. The aspiring Mt Pleasant independent candidate hosted her Shanduko soccer tournament at Groombridge Primary School. According to Mahere’s team, the police arrived at the venue with suspected Zanu PF officials.
