Zanu-PF plans to raise $8 million for 2017 extra ordinary congress

Zanu-PF’s National Fundraising Committee intends to raise $8 million for the 2017 extra ordinary congress scheduled for December in Harare.

Zanu PF secretary for finance and chairman of the National Fundraising Committee, Obert Mpofu appealed to the corporate world and well wishers to contribute. Mpofu said that each province has been tasked to raise $100 000. While launching the fundraising bid at Zanu-PF’s headquarters in Harare, Mpofu said they will raise funds through a fundraising dinner, contributions from proceeds raised from the sale of party cards, donations from well wishers as well as contributions raised from businesses that will exhibit at the business expo that will run concurrently with the extra ordinary congress.
