This year’s edition of the Castle Lager National Braai day is scheduled to take place at Old Hararians Sports Club on 28 October. The organisers have set a target of 15 000 kg of meat to be consumed as well as the longest bar in the country of up to 150m. Last year 12 680kg of meat were consumed at the event.
Delta Beverages marketing manager, Patricia Murambinda, said:
As part of cementing our communication platform launched last year, It all Comes Together with a Castle, this braai day will see the Gigmaster (music), the braaimaster (braai) and the brewmaster (Castle) coming together again.
To add to the excitement like last year a braaiometer will be on site showing the consumption levels of meat as the day progresses.
