FC Platinum shoot to the top, Dynamos drops points

 FC Platinum moved to the top of the table after beating Shabanie Mine 2-0 in a Zvishavane Derby played at Mandava on Wednesday afternoon. Norrman Mapeza’s men currently seat at 59 points, one point ahead of second placed Dynamos.

Rodwell Chinyengetere scored a header in the 64th minute before Mkhokeli Dube doubled the lead ten minutes later. Meanwhile, Dynamos drew 1-1 against Tsholotsho in a match played at National Sports Stadium. Dembare opened the scoring through Tichaona Chipunza in 16th minute. Tsholotsho responded swiftly and equalised a minute later courtesy of Lucky Nyathi’s effort. Tsholotsho scored in the last minute but the goal was ruled offside.

Ngezi Platinum Stars sit on third position after they drew 1-1 with Chapungu at Ascot Stadium. Osborne Mukuradare Chapungu in front on the 34th minute before Xolisani Moyo equalised for Ngezi just over the hour mark.
