Zodwa Wabantu mocks Mugabe with controversial painting

South African dancer and socialite Zodwa Wabantu has posted a highly controversial sketch which shows her lifting her leg in the face of President Robert Mugabe and First Lady Grace Mugabe. Zodwa is standing firm and refusing to take down the picture from her Instagram account.

Zodwa was initially supposed to perform at the Harare International Carnival until she got banned by the government following a complaint from former Studio 263 actress Vimbai Nhira. The ban caused so much buzz in Zimbabwe and President Mugabe himself publicly criticised her trademark of not wearing panties.

Speaking on her antics, she said

was instructed to remove the painting from my page and I refused. I told him it is for my fans and they love it. It’s pointless to remove it from my page because the painter posted it. Instead he should tell the painter to remove it.

I don’t care what he thinks of the painting because I didn’t paint it. I’m still going to Zimbabwe later this month to perform
