Paradzai Zimondi’s son in court

Zimbabwe Prison and Correctional Services boss, Paradzai Zimondi’s son Tinashe Owen Zimondi (23) appeared before Harare magistrate Eric Kadye on Monday on charges of trespassing.

He was remanded out of custody on US$20 bail and his trial will commence tomorrow. It is the States case that on October 7 Zimondi unlawfully entered Catherine Muchigami’s at house number 39 Lomagundi Road in Avondale at around 5:45am. Muchigami greeted Zimondi who then ordered her to remain silent.

Muchigani then called her brother-in-law Talent Chitiyo who interrogated Zimondi on how he entered the premise. Zimondi then told Chitiyo that he was following Muchigami since she had stolen his US$200 while at a local bar.
