Moyo tells Mnangagwa to rewrite leaked dossier to present to politburo as he now has plenty of time

Minister of tertiary education and one of the kingpins of the G40 Faction, Professor Jonathan Moyo has taken a potshot at his rival Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa after President Robert Mugabe reshuffled the cabinet and left Mnangagwa without a portfolio. The ministry of Justice was taken away from Mnangagwa and given to former Director General of the Central Intelligence Organisation Happyton Bonyongwe.

Never one to avoid conflict, Professor Moyo immediately advised his rival to rewrite the alleged 85-page dossier which was leaked before he could present into to the Zanu-PF Politburo. The dossier is supposed to be a response to the allegations raised against Mnangagwa by Moyo at a Politburo meeting. However, private newspaper the Independent released excerpts of the dossier before it had been presented to the politburo.

Moyo also seemed to make fun of the fact that Mnangagwa does not head the Justice Ministry or any other ministry by saying that Mnangagwa now has plenty of time to rewrite the dossier. Moyo went on to allude that Mnangagwa was claiming to have been poisoned, saying he failed to present the dossier because he was unwell. Moyo and Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko have dismissed claims that Mnangagwa was poisoned.
