Norton MP Temba Mliswa has criticised President Robert Mugabe for appointing former Home Affairs Minister Ignatius Chombo as the new Finance Minister to replace Patrick Chinamasa who was appointed Minister of Cyber Security, Threat Detection and Mitigation.
Mliswa said that the appointment of Chombo whom he has labelled the father of land barons shows that Mugabe does not want to fix the economy. Mliswa wrote on his twitter account:
We see that the president is not genuine and sensitive to the dormant economy, when he appoints people like Chombo to run that ministry
