Harare Tees founder Tinashe Chiweshe’s murderer released on US$300 bail

Tapfumaneyi Allan Muwande (45) from Greystone Park who allegedly attacked Harare Tees founder Tinashe Chiweshe who is reported by HMetro to be his wife’s boyfriend was released on US$300 bail and the matter was remanded to October 25. Muwande’s wife Faith disputes that Tinashe was her lover and insists that they were printing partners.

Muwande was not asked to plead when he appeared before magistrate Josephine Sande charged with murder. He was ordered to reside at his given address, surrender his passport and report twice every week at Rhodesville Police Station as part of his bail conditions.

It is the State’s case that on September 29, Muwande assaulted the late Chiweshe with hands, feet and a bottle on his ribs leading to his death after finding the two in their matrimonial home.
