Perpetual Mahachi, 44, a court official in charge of exhibits appeared before Harare magistrate Nomsa Sabarauta facing charges of theft. Mahachi allegedly stole US$990, fake US dollars, old Zimbabwe dollar notes, 258 grams of smelted gold and a single diamond. She was arrested after she failed to account for the missing exhibits.
She was granted $50.
