This Flag coordinator Pastor Evan Mawarire pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges of misconduct and inciting to cause violence.
He is jointly charged with his colleague Ocean Chiota. The duo was arrested in June for allegedly addressing medical students who were striking over a hike in fees at the University of Zimbabwe. The trial will continue on September 28. Mawarire will appear again on court on September 25 on charges of trying to remove the government.
