Mutsvangwa attacks "not so bright" Chombo over war veterans leadership saga

Former cabinet minister Christopher Mutsvangwa who was expelled from Zanu-PF has attacked Minister of Home Affairs Ignatius Chombo for entertaining the war veterans leadership faction led by Minister Mandi Chimene and George Mlala. This comes after Chombo allegedly claimed that Chimene was in charge of the war veterans’ association while at a rally to show solidarity for First Lady Grace Mugabe.

Said Mutsvangwa

It is a clear contempt of court what happened on the so called solidarity rally which was a flop when we saw him (Chombo) associating with Mandi Chimene and George Mlala who have a court order before them

How can a minister in-charge of the police, the one who is the chief law officer of the land, entertain Mandi and Mlala on his side when he knows that they have a judgment against them?

These people do not want to respect the law and they do not want to respect constitutional democracy which we fought for. I am so much angered by him because we were together at Kutama mission and he was not so bright, and now he finds himself ahead of us in the government of President Robert Mugabe, not with-standing that we went to war and fought that he becomes a free man.

Chombo likes power but he should have gone to the war and fought for it, and I do not know in the lottery of war whether he would have survived,
