Mugabe speaks on Zodwa Wabantu

Speaking after officially opening Bindura Community Information Centre on Saturday, President Robert Mugabe commented on South African dancer Zodwa Wabantu.

He said that Zodwa should dance in South Africa and not in Zimbabwe. Said Mugabe:

Ndianiko uya, aiinzi hatidi buny’unyu’u kuti uuye zvako une unyun’un’u usina chawakasimira unenge uchida chii? Varume kuti vakuone? Aiwa, I’m sorry. We disappointed many men avo varikunyunyuta mumoyo mavo. Ndakanzwa kuti vakawanda vaida kuti auye. Ehh ipfungwa dzatisingade idzodzo, ngaadziitire ikoko kwaari, dai zvaramba zviri kwaari ikoko. (Who is that who was banned from coming because she dances naked? We disappointed many men and they are grumbling in their hearts. I heard a lot wanted her to come. That is a bad thing, she should dance naked in South Africa, I hope it stays that way.)

  1. And one wonders why God keeps Mugabe alive. I don’t want such studipidity in my country like this Zodwa prostitute. We are a Christian Nation with morals and a culture we respect. We will not be defiled by the likes of prostitute zodwa
