Zimra surpasses August revenue target

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (Zimra) has exceeded it revenue target for the month of August by 15%.

In an update, Zimra said net collections for August totaled to $307,95 million against a target of $267,66 million. This was also 20% better compared to $256 million collected during the same period last year. Corporate Income Tax contributed $17,26 million against a target of $8.70 million,  Excise Duty was 10,87% above the target of $55,87 million with $61,94 million the bulk of it coming from fuel imports.
