You will regret when Mugabe is gone, Chimene warns Mnangagwa

Speaking at the solidarity march organised by Zanu-PF for Grace Mugabe, Manicaland Provincial Affairs Minister Mandi Chimene said that Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa will regret when President Robert Mugabe is gone. In a thinly veiled attack, Chimene referenced Mugabe’s National Heroes Acre address and said that someone is claiming that they have been bewitched. This is in reference to Team Lacoste’s claims that Mnangagwa was poisoned by G40.

Said Chimene:

Isu kwedu tinoti ita steady mutiro magwavha mambishi aya. (Where I come from we say keep calm the guavas are still raw.) Iyezvino [Now] you are now saying I was bewitched but you were once told that magwavha achiri mambishi (the guavas are still raw). You will regret once Mugabe is no more mark my words. We are busy praying to God to give our president many years but others are plotting.
