Soma Phiri resigns from Highlanders after Akbay accuses him of sabotage

Highlanders assistant coach Amin Soma Phiri handed his resignation letter today after head coach Erol Akbay blamed him for the team’s slump in form. Highlanders have lost their last three games.

Phiri recently bounced back as assistant coach after being suspended together with Comsas Zulu for ill-discipline.
