Abolish the bond notes and return the Zim dollar: Mukupe

Zanu-PF MP for Harare East Terence Mukupe has called for the return of the Zimbabwe dollar at an exchange rate of US$1: ZWD46. He did not explain how exactly he came up with the exchange rate. Mukupe posted on his Facebook Wall,

I’m for the abolishment of the bond notes and the return of the Zim dollar and the setting up of an independent currency board… My simple math would place the Zim dollar at a rate of US$1 to ZW$46.
