CPSL Matchday 23 results: CAPS United continues winning streak, Highlanders fans throw missiles after losing

CAPS United registered a 2-1 win over Black Rhinos in a match played this afternoon at National Sports Stadium. Highlanders lost 1-0 to Tsholotsho.

Black Rhino’s Brighton Chandisaita scored an own goal in the 45th minute to give Makepekepe the lead before Vincent Mhandu equalised in the 77th minute finishing off a cross from Mukombwe. However in form forward Dominic Chungwa scored CAPS United’s second goal of the afternoon in the 84th minute. CAPS United’s Justice Jangano was sent off during injury time after being given a second yellow card.

Lucky Vundla scored Tsholotsho’s only goal in the 45th minute. Reports are that Bosso fans threw missiles onto the pitch during injury time.
