10% of students at NUST who sought medical treatment were treated for STIs

According to the National University of Science and Technology’s (Nust)  2016 Vice-Chancellor report 10 percent of the students and staff who were attended at the Nust Clinic were treated for sexually-transmitted infections. The clinic treated 2 632 students and staff members. Another 10 percent of the students who sought treatment sought treatment for Tuberculosis. The majority of the students who were treated at the clinic, 21 percent, were treated for respiratory problems.
