George Rutanhire declared national hero

The late George Rutanhire has been declared a national hero and will be buried at the National Heroes Acre.

 Zanu PF Secretary for Administration, Ignatius Chombo confirmed the development and said burial arrangements will be announced in due course. Rutanhire died early Saturday at Karanda Mission Hospital in Mt Darwin after succumbing to renal failure. He was aged 68.
