Pastor jailed for 10 years for failing to pay maintenance for 3 children

Pastor Romeo Makonye (29) of Gweru will spend the next 10 months in prison after he failed to pay maintenance for his three children with estranged wife Shamaine Musindo. Makonye was ordered to pay $100 per month but failed to do so for almost two years until the amount was $2000 leading to Gweru Magistrate Vimbai Makora sentencing him to 10 months in prison.
