CAPS United moves out of relegation zone after beating FC Platinum

CAPS United have moved out of the relegation zone after beating FC Platinum 2-1 in a rescheduled Castle Lager Premiership fixture played at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.

FC Platinum took the lead in the 5th minute through Charles Sibanda. Dominic Chungwa headed Hardlife Zvirekwi’s corner to level the scores in the 20th minute. Stephen Makatuka put Makepekep in front with a header following a Ronald Pfumbidzai corner kick in the 37th minute. The results sees CAPS United move out of the relegation zone to 14th with 21 points while FC Platinum’s unbeaten that had stretched to five games comes to an end.
