Miracle Prophets face ban unless they register with Traditional Medical Practitioners Council

Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care Dr Aldrin Musiiwa has said miracle prophets, pastors, traditionalists and faith healers will soon be banned from working without a practicing certificate from the Traditional Medical Practitioners Council. He said that his Ministry has started writting to church leaders who are known to perform miracles advising them of the new requirement. The requirement is also meant to save the general public from fake prophets.

Said Dr Musiiwa,

If any one of the faith healers, whether pastors or traditional healers, refuses to comply with the directive, (Health) Minister Dr David Parirenyatwa will be left with no option but to ban all faith healing.

We are not saying churches should register with us but all those who are into faith healing are required by the law to register.

Those who don’t want to register know that whatever they are is fake. It is the duty of the Minister of Health to protect the public from abuse by psychological manipulative man of the cloth

TMPC is the only arm of Government that allows faiths healers (prophets, apostles, bishops, pastors and n’ángas (witchdoctors) to heal people).

Some churches with departments of midwifery particularly within apostolic sets must register with TMPC.

TMPC board chair Sekuru Friday Chisanyu said

When they are prescribing anointing water, bangles and wrist bands without registering, that’s illegal.

  1. Its a shame on us Zimbos. Please let the church be the church. Tavekuda kutanga hondo yatisingapedze. We are proud with our freedom of worship, registering with n’anga , will it still be Chistianity??????

  2. Reverend Wyson Duth is incorrect. If you are an “umbrella body of evangelical and pentecostal churches” if I may use the nice phrases of the writer, you yourself which umbrella body do you belong? You would probably say you belong to the Lord Jesus Christ the only God, but recursively we have the question how do we verify you are of God? False Prophet should come Matthew 5:18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” The scripture says they will come and here we shown all scripture should be fulfilled.
The question is which ones are the false Prophets? The scripture has a hint for us. Lets go to the book of Acts 5, we see the disciples in the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” the verse 20 “and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”. Those being the words of Jesus our Lord saying “…And surely I am with you always” yet we see the disciples being opposed by those who claimed to be an ….(abruptly pause, swallow a bit [camera showing Adam’s apple moving in swallow action] then continue talking) umbrella body of the Synagogue, in Acts 5.
Acts 5; verse 12 “The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.” then a bit forward verse 14 “Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.”.
Then same chapter 5 verse 16 “Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.” … move again verse 17 “Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy.” the lovely part.
Same Acts 5 verse 18-20 the apostles arrested, iprosoned the set free by an Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and reminded of the Great Commission in verse 20.
Same Acts 5 the apostles were recaptured sent to court again to face the …[clear the throat a bit] umbrella body of the Synagogue.
Same Acts 5 verse 34 going forward is where we are coming to, a wise man advising the [blink a bit] umbrella body verse 38 “Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail”. Then finally verse 39 “But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.””.
Conclusion: we now all know the story and we now know what the [quickly say the next word and pray you never have to use it again in this conversation] umbrella body was. We hope the umbrella bodies will be different than of that time for Isaiah 43:19 “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”, because God might not use the same exact method to make us say Psalm 118:23 “the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes”.
    Peace be unto you all!

  3. I want to air my opinion as a reader:
It is true all those who are practicing in churches MUST register for they are practicing. Once this is put to Law then there will be light to who would be true practitioners and false practitioners.
we are tied of Tsikamutanda as they call these people who have destroyed people and took advantage of those less privileged.
