Khumalo to abide by suspension from MDC-T on charges of contributing to Khupe’s attack

MDC-T information deputy secretary Tabitha Khumalo told NewsDay that she will abide by her suspension from MDC-T on charges of contributing to violence that resulted in the party’s Vice President Thokozani Khupe being attacked.

Said Khumalo:

I will abide by the suspension until the necessary processes from the investigation are completed. Before that, I will not give any further comment.

Khumalo was suspended from MDC-T on Wednesday alongside deputy treasurer-general, Charlton Hwende and three other youth members. On Wednesday she issued a statement urging members to support Morgan Tsvangirai in making the MDC Alliance a success.
