Zimbabwe Communist Party launched, says it won't contest 2018 elections

Earlier on today (Tuesday) a new political party, The Zimbabwe Communist Party (ZCP) was launched. The party is led by one Ngqabutho Mabhena who is based in South Africa and claims to be a former member of the MDC. Ironically, Mabhena said that the (ZCP) was not going to contest in the 2018 elections saying that an election will not resolve the economic hardships that Zimbabweans are facing. However, the ZCP said that it was going to sit down and choose which candidate to support in the 2018 elections.
