Speaking to The Chronicle, Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Precious Simango confirmed that they arrested an unspecified number of people for causing violence and stealing at the Busy Signal show that was held in Bulawayo last Friday. However sources close to the investigations told The Chronicle that at least 40 people were arrested.
Apart from Busy Signal not performing, South Africa’s Busiswa also failed to take to the stage because of the abrupt end to the show organised by United Kingdom-based Y2K Promotions. Bulawayo socialite Babongile Sikhonjwa, who was the MC on the night, said he saw a number of people at Bulawayo Central Police station after the show.
