The Supreme Court yesterday reserved judgment in the Centenary Farm row which involves Matabeleland South commercial farmer David Connolly who was appealing against an order to vacate a farm that Deputy Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Ray Ndhlukula possesses an offer letter for.
Connolly was last year ordered to vacate Centenary Farm in Figtree by Harare High Court Judge Justice Joseph Musakwa. At the time Justice Musakwa said Connolly was occupying a farm which was acquired by Government in 2000 during the Land Reform Programme. Presiding over the Supreme Court session in Bulawayo yesterday, Justices Paddington Garwe, Ben Hlatshwayo and Antonio Guvava reserved the ruling to a later date.
