Chinese arrested with 120kg ivory worth $96 000 in Kenya en route to Vietnam from Zimbabwe

Police in Nairobi Kenya have arrested a Chinese woman with 120 kilograms of Ivory worth 10 million Kenyan shillings which is equivalent to 96,206.054 US dollars, at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

Speaking to The Citizen, JKIA DCIO Jackson Mbati said the woman was in transit to Hanoi, Vietnam from Zimbabwe when she was arrested.
