MDC-T activists accused of killing police officer denied bail


Yesterday, High Court judge Justice Priscilla Chigumba ruled against granting bail to three MDC-T activists who are facing charges of murdering police officer Talkmore Phiri. The three, Darlington Madzonga (41), Edmore Musvubhi (32) and Barnabas Mwanaka (35) were arrested two weeks ago after skirmishes between the police and vendors in the area around Harvest House. Justice Chigumba is yet to reveal the reason for her judgement.
