Mashonaland Holding chief executive officer Manfred Mahari was taken to court last week for failing to pay maintenance. His arrears are now alleged to be $31 577. Harare Magistrate Lucy Ngwari granted him $50 bail and remanded him to the 8th of August for trial.
The monthly amount was not disclosed. However, the court heard that that on April 12, 2012, Mahari was, ordered by the Harare Civil Court to pay maintenance for three children.
