11 people burnt beyond recognition, 14 seriously injured in accident

11 people were burnt beyond recognition while 14 were seriously injured when a Honda CRV vehicle crashed into a Nissan Caravan at the 60 kilometre peg along the Centenary-Mvurwi road today. Both vehicles caught fire upon colliding.

Four people who were travelling in the Honda CRV died while seven were travelling in the Nissan Caravan. The Nissan Caravan had 21 passengers on board. Speaking to The Herald, police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the accident.
