I will not go back to Zanu PF unless they change their approach and apologise to me: Didymus Mutasa

Former minister of State Security and one of the leaders of the Zimbabwe People First party, Didymus Mutasa has said that he will not go back to Zanu PF unless the ruling party apologises to him and explains why he was expelled from the party in 2014. This follows reports that Mutasa is now destitute and has been told that he is welcome to rejoin Zanu PF.

Speaking to the Daily News, Mutasa said:

It takes politeness and a sorry if they want me back, maybe (Ignatius) Chombo as the secretary for administration should write to me stating why I was expelled in the first place. Charamba has nothing to do with this.

It is the president who knows better. If you ask Charamba and the others why I was expelled they don’t even know but to repeat lies that I was talking to Mujuru.

…I am not prepared to go back to Zanu PF unless they change their approach and follow the law.
