Zanu-PF politburo dismisses ouster of Kasukuwere's friend as chairperson

Zanu-PF’s Politburo upheld Saviour Kasukuwere’s decison that the recent suspension of Charles Tawengwa as Harare Provincial Chair is null and void.

The Politburo also ordered Justice Zvandasara and his team that had been appointed on an interim basis to vacate the provincial offices. Zanu PF Secretary for Administration, Ignatius Chombo told journalists that the decision to reverse Tawengwa’s suspension was done to prevent disorder in the party and to warn other provinces that disorder will not be tolerated. Chombo also said that the presidium is still deciding on Saviour Kasukuwere’s fate.
