Chitungwiza Municipality to lose 7 vehicles to settle debt to former employees

Revelations Auctioneers will be auctioning off seven vehicles including a refuse truck belonging to Chitungwiza Municipality after the local authority failed to settle a debt owed to its former employees. The workers did not get their termination packages despite being retrenched 3 years ago. This forced them to seek recourse at the High Court which ruled in their favour.

The vehicles which will be auctioned are as follows:

• Toyota Fortuner (ADR 1383)
• Nissan Hardbody NP300
• Toyota Hilux double-cab (AAE 7098)
• Land Rover (AEB 6132)
• CK UD Truck (AAE 5899)
• Toyota Hilux (ADR 4943) and
• Foton double-cab (AAE 7103).
