Power outages at Morton Jaffray Waterworks affect Harare water supply

In a statement released on their Facebook page; Harare City Council said that power outages at Morton Jaffray Water works were the reason why some areas had no water at all.

The statement reads:

There have been some power outages at our Water Treatment works over the past two days. This has resulted in reduced water production with the effect that some areas of Harare are getting erratic water supply and some not at all. We are working with ZESA to get the challenges rectified. We hope to get to normal water production soon.

Affected areas include Kuwadzana and Mabelreign.
