Biti's party selects parliamentary candidates for 2018 elections

Tendai Biti’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has selected candidates which will contest for parliamentary seats in the 2018 elections.

Activist Linda Masarira is set to contest for the Harare Central seat. Some of the candidates include Tatenda Chigwada -Harare South, Evelyn Masaiti- Mabvuku, Moses Manyengavana-Highfield West, Linda Masarira-Harare Central, Tarisai Musurudzwa –Epworth, Willias Madzimure – Kambuzuma and several others.

Addressing some of the candidates, Biti said they now have at least half the number of people who will contest in the parliamentary elections even though they are still in talks over the formation of a grand coalition ahead of the 2018 general elections.
